How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I made it through the latest cancer scare but there is a another problem I am dealing with that is getting increasingly worse. I was infected with MRSA a couple of years ago when I unknowingly came in contact with it at my home when a health care provider exposed me to the so called super bug. There is no cure and usually when it enters the blood stream it is only a matter of time before it is fatal. The fact that I now have an infection that won't go away makes me think I am closer than ever to my next big fight.

If it is in fact my last big fight know this. Your love and kindness is something I cherish so much. I have had so much joy reading responses and comments about my artwork over these past few years and I have spent many sleepless nights working on the next picture to share with you.

When I was in the 7th grade my art teacher said "Darrell, someday you will be a famous artist!" There have been many times when I have felt I let her down. If some of you remember me for a while maybe her statement all those years ago were right after all. I will certainly remember you.

Thank you Ryan. Ever since my battle with cancer and the surgery to remove it my immune system has been very weak so anything hits me hard and with this being the worse form of the strain I have a tough time dealing with it. I am feeling better though!

So sorry to read this. I've lost family and friends to cancer and illness over the years. I remember hearing about the superbug, then there was the H1N1 swine flu, which I think I caught when it first came out I got nervous because of all the news reports I heard but was glad that what I had was the milder strain.

There are studies being done on the superbug in an effort to find a cure.
